Extracurricular Activities
These are the programs or organizations that I have been a part of over my college career

I've been apart of the American Marketing Association at CSUF since the Fall of 2018
VP of Membership - Fall 2019-Spring 2020
-
Managed and edited AMA website, leading to a more aesthetically pleasing homepage and understandable timeline of events
-
Developed an organized system for membership applications, dues, and attendance within one spreadsheet, creating a database of over 100 club members

This academic year from 2019-2020 I served as the AMA VP of Membership for Cal State Fullerton. I completed a lot of valuable tasks like updating our AMA website, checking members into our meetings, and corresponding with any questions that came through our website or email

Director of Community Relations - Spring 2019
-
Proposed and implemented ideas for club socials and community service events with an average attendance of 25 club members per event

During the Spring of 2019, I served as the Director of Community Relations for Cal State Fullerton. I gained a lot of respect for event planners and people who organize events for a business. Many events had to be planned on short notice with few resources, but I learned how to be flexible and for future events, how to plan ahead of times, with due dates and checklists.

I have had the honor of being in the Leadership Scholars Program for the Center for Leadership since Spring 2019
Development Board - Spring 2020
-
Created workshops that allowed scholars to develop professionally. Average attendance ranged from 20-30.
-
Pick company site visits

I am currently serving on this board. I love the people I am working with. My favorite development workshop was "How to Have a Difficult Conversation." We roleplayed as being a manager telling an employee that they had several complaints made against them.

Operations Board - Fall 2019
-
Brainstormed questions for guest speakers, scheduled socials and created the presentations for the events
Being on this board was so much fun because we actually got to create meaningful questions that would be asked during our Q&A to our executives. Also, we were able to research the speakers beforehand and learn more about them before our meetings.
